About Calrose
Calrose is a medium to short grain rice which has a soft and slightly sticky texture. It is only grown in countries in temperate climates. Calrose rice is popularly used in Japanese dishes.
- Variety: Hananomai - Average grain length: 5.0mm - Texture: Soft and sticky Cooking Method: 1. Rinse rice and drain. 2. 1 cup of rice with 1 1/2 cups of water. 3. Cover the rice cooker and turn it on. 4. When it automatically turns off, do not lift the cover immediately. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
